Can family and friends visit whenever they like?
Yes – We operate an open visiting policy, unless previously agreed with the Residence Manager.
What qualifications do Care Teams have?
We check all our employees’ qualifications on recruitment. All our staff go through a rigorous induction program, including competency-based assessments. Care Residence provides ongoing training and support so that all staff have the skills and knowledge to provide highest standards of care and services.
Do I always have to eat in the dining room?
No. If you are feeling a bit poorly the nursing staff will ensure, you have a tray service in your own room.
What about my special diet?
Our chef can accommodate your special diet and will consult with you about it.
May I keep my own doctor?
Yes of course, if your family doctor is not too far away and is able to visit the Home. However, we also have access to doctors who visit the Home on a regular basis. We will also be able to contact the local Health centre for a doctor to visit you.
What happens to my room if I go away on holiday or if I have to go to hospital for a while?
We simply lock your room and keep an eye on it for you until you’re back.
Can I bring any furniture and personal items from home?
Whatever your length of stay, we encourage you to bring small items of furniture, photographs to feel homelier.

Absolutely. At Residenza San Guzepp we have our own chapel for prayer which also includes a mass ceremony.
