MEDICATIONS

Our residents are encouraged to maintain as much independence as possible. If you wish to continue to manage your own medicines, the nurse will first check it is safe for you to do so. You will then sign a form with your GP’s agreement, then you can continue to administer your own medicines.

If you require help and support to manage your medicines, on admission you will sign a consent form to transfer the Pharmacy of Your Choice (POYC) to our local pharmacy. The necessary cards should be handed to the nurse and we will take care of the whole process for you.
